Spicy-Sweet Turmeric Smoothie

Curcuma longa roots

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 banana frozen
  • 1/2 lemon, both zest and juice
  • 1 cup coconut water (add more or less for desired texture)
  • 1 cup organic whole milk yogurt of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder (or one capsule)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of cayenne

Instructions

1. Blend all ingredients until smooth in a blender of NutriBullet.
2. Decorate with lemon zest.
